How is Implementation Arranged?
Planning & Assessment
We work with key decision makers in a school or district to identify an individual implementation plan tailored to the needs of the students. We take into account those initiatives that have been working well for schools, and weave them into the plan.
Scope of Work & Budget
A Scope of Work is developed, and a budget is created. A schedule of implementation allows schools to plan for Professional Development.
Professional Development
Professional Developers certified by the Center for Research on Learning—University of Kansas—provide training and coaching to school staff. Some large group professional development occurs, as well as small group and one-on-one coaching. Depending on the Scope of Work and the budget, this too, will be an individual plan. Training in technology that supports this model is provided.
Ongoing Evaluation & Assessment
We work with schools to identify appropriate benchmarking tools, and help ensure that the research-proven practices are being implemented with fidelity.
Some schools choose to implement with all staff at one time, while others begin with a portion of the staff and continue to expand professional development until all staff are trained.
